Position:    Leave Replacement Speech Language Pathologist (Late April 2019 through August 2019)

*Leave replacement (Late April 2019 through August 2019) Speech Language Pathologist for The Hagedorn Little Village School for children with developmental disabilities ranging in age from 2 to 12 years. This position could lead to a full time position.

*Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00-4:00

*Late April 2019 start date (candidates must be available for immediate interviews.

*Fingerprinting, initial medical exam and New York State criminal background check is mandatory.

The successful candidate will possess:    

  • NYSED certification required.
  • TSSH or TSSLD
  • ASHA certification
  •  Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Knowledge of ABA methodology a plus
  • PROMPT trained a plus
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Position:   ​Accounting Clerk

Position Overview: 
Looking for a full time entry-level Accounting Clerk to help complete daily accounting tasks such as accounts receivable cash receipts, assist with monthly and quarterly reporting, and journal entries. Strong organizational and attention to detail are a must for a successful candidate. The perfect candidate for this position is a team player who is motivated, with a desire to learn.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:

  • Process, sort and distribute incoming mail on a daily basis
  • Preparation of daily bank deposit (Remote deposit)
  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of company accounting records
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting

Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk:

  • 1-3 years of Accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software and Microsoft Office are required
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Hard working, multi-tasker

Education Requirements:

  • Associate Degree required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

Benefits

Salary:  $30,000-$35,000 per year

Position:   Teacher Assistant/Teacher Aide  (multiple openings available)

Description:

  • Full time positions available: Monday through Friday 8:25 – 2:40; Immediate interviews and openings.
  • This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to enter the field of special education and work collaboratively with teachers and therapists; no classroom experience necessary – we will train.

  • Full time salaried position (10 month school calendar plus a 6 week summer session):
    • Paid for all school breaks/holidays

    • Teacher Aides: Annual Salary $18,000;
    • New York State Certified Teacher Assistants: Annual Salary: $19,500
  • Per Diem positions (10 month school calendar only)
    • Teacher Aides $12 per hour;
    • New York State Certified Teacher Assistants $13 per hour
  • Supervision hours can be provided by a BCBA

Job Summary/Requirements:

  • Must be a caring, compassionate person who is eager to work with 2-12 year old students with developmental disabilities in a small (i.e., 6-12 students) classroom environment. Duties include working on social, emotional and academic development of students, and assisting children with personal care
  • Must be cooperative, reliable and dependable
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) a plus
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Fingerprinting, initial medical exam and New York State criminal background check is mandatory
