For Parents and Professionals working with Individuals with Autism The Hagedorn Little Village School is approved by the New York State Education Department to provide mandated training in the needs of children with autism to new special education teachers seeking certification and new administrators and supervisors of special education programs. The three hour training program has been developed in accordance with the NYS Education Department’s Autism Syllabus. This course is open to all who are interested. The training has been designed to educate professionals who assist in the treatment and educational process of those diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. The cost is $35.00. All participants will receive a State Education Certificate of Completion. The dates for the workshop are as follows: Monday, March 5, 2012
